Cultural activities in Hamburg
Hamburg is a real cultural metropolis. It accommodates more than 60 museums, many galleries and cinemas, several music clubs as well as approximately 45 theatres. The cultural attractions also include Miniatur Wunderland, the world’s largest model railway, the “Cap San Diego” and “Rickmer Rickmers” museum ships at the jetties and also the “International Maritime Museum” at Hafencity.
Hamburg is also the third largest location for musicals. Stage Entertainment runs 4 musical productions at the same time here. Added to this are various smaller stages with their own music and revues. However, Hamburg is also famous for good opera and ballet performances as well as classical concerts.
An interactive museum with exciting rallies and detective games for children and adults. The history of Hamburg’s police, criminal technology and spectacular (sometimes unsolved) cases are presented in an interesting way. Note: not for the faint-hearted!
